Before Kenya: GHC’s Early Impact

The Global Water Challenge was one of Global Health Connections original projects.  It was started in 2003 and lasted through 2020. 

It was a Denver-based challenge that focused on researching water issues both locally and globally. Students studied water issues and prepared water-themed skits in preparation for competition day.  

It was primarily funded by the Denver Rotary Club and served over 17,000 middle school students. 

The Water Challenge was put on a temporary hold during COVID and could possibly be resurrected in the future.
