mark Orondo, project officer

Project Officer

Mark has a Bachelor's degree of Commerce from Kenyatta University.  He previously served as a Content Supervisor for the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, which acts as the principal agency for collecting, analyzing and disseminating statistical data in Kenya. While there, he was in charge of supervising and training enumerators, undertaking census enumeration in the sampled households and liaising with village administrators to identify all the special population groups in the assigned area. He has also worked with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission as a clerk, where he was responsible for mobilizing and registering voters. Prior to that, he spent three years managing and executing projects for Vaultech Technologies, an IT company based in Kisii. 


Mark is part of the Kisii team and is currently in charge of Global Health Connections data collection and analysis, and research activities. He has a passion and zeal for community empowerment and impact and loves working for an organization that shares his values.  


In his free time, Mark loves to watch documentaries, socialize, and read!
