Carrie Paykoc is a mission driven leader with over 15 years in health care and health technology focused on serving the greater good. She has led as a public servant in a variety of roles that includes Alaska’s Chief Informatics Officer with Alaska’s Department of Health, Colorado’s Director of the Office of eHealth Innovation, and Colorado’s State Health IT Coordinator- through multiple terms and different political affiliations. She launched her own consulting practice, Health Tech Moxie.
At present she is leading Washington State's Health and Human Service Coalition efforts to implement an enterprise electronic health record across multiple state agencies and care settings. Her experience spans not-for-profit, health technology companies, health systems, public sector, and startups. Notable achievements include developing and implementing a statewide strategy to support health equity.
Carrie holds an MBA-Health Administration, and Master and Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado at Denver. She actively serves on the board of directors for Paragon Behavioral Health and Global Health Connections. In her free time she loves spending time outdoors, traveling, and sportzing.
